Request cleaning, inspection and seasonal-care instructions for the table, finish and accessories. Different surfaces and mechanisms can need different treatment. Use only methods and products permitted by the manufacturer.
Plan for changing conditions
Discuss your location and exposure with the supplier. Ask what should be covered, removed or stored during periods of non-use, and follow the selected product’s guidance for cold weather. Do not assume every outdoor product can be left unattended year-round.
Look after the pieces people handle
Paddles, balls, cues and loose game pieces need their own storage plan. Keep an inventory and a route for reporting damaged or missing accessories so visitors know when a game is available.
Make inspections part of the routine
