Start with how often the layout changes
A dedicated recreation area may suit a fixed game. A space that also hosts events may benefit from a format designed to move or pack away. Confirm that a product is intended to be moved before treating it as portable.
Compare placement and access
Heavy products can require particular handling and placement arrangements. Movable equipment still needs a safe storage location and an appropriate route between storage and play. Ask for the exact dimensions, weight and handling requirements of each shortlisted model.
Check exposure and care by product
“Outdoor” is not a substitute for a care specification. Ask about the selected finish, moving parts, accessories, exposure limits and seasonal care. Material alone does not establish warranty, weather suitability or maintenance needs.
Look at the full project cost
Compare the equipment alongside delivery, base preparation, placement, storage and accessory replacement. If installation or other work is required, clarify who provides it and what is included in the quotation.
